IFTTT update: Stay connected with Skype and IFTTT

Hundreds of millions of people all over the world rely on Skype to stay in touch. It’s been around for over a decade, and in that time some amazing things have happened. Centennial birthdays have been celebrated over video chat. A soldier 6000 miles away saw his son enter the world. Best friends found each other, a world apart. Classrooms have been connected, and businesses have been built.

That’s why we’re excited to announce that Skype is now on IFTTT, in a unique way. Here’s how to have a new kind of conversation, with the Skype Channel:

1. Connect your Skype account to IFTTT.

2. Add the IFTTT Bot to your Skype contacts.

3. Add a few Recipes! When your Recipe runs, the IFTTT Bot will automatically join your conversations to share the relevant information. Don’t worry — it won’t pipe up unless you’ve instructed it to, by adding a Recipe.

IFTTT update: EZVIZ is now on IFTTT

EZVIZ’s mini-HD wireless cameras help you stay connected and secure. We’re excited to announce that as part of their commitment to accessible home automation, they’ve launched the EZVIZ Channel on IFTTT.

Connect EZVIZ to set up alerts that will reach you on the devices you use most often, or to automatically adjust your camera’s mode.

IFTTT update: Welcome EVE for Tesla to IFTTT

MailChimp (and their famous winking mascot Freddie) now has a Channel where you can set up Recipes that will run when new campaigns are sent or scheduled, you get new subscribers, new campaign reports become available, and more.

People all over the world go to Product Hunt to geek out over what’s new. Mobile apps, websites, services, hardware, and more are discussed and debated by one of the most engaged communities online. Now that Product Hunt is on IFTTT you can run Recipes that make it easy to share your votes, discover new products, and keep track of projects you’re watching.

IFTTT update: Strava is now on IFTTT

Get ready to level-up your fitness.

Strava lets you track your workouts and connect with a global community of runners, cyclists and triathletes. When you connect your Strava account with IFTTT you’ll be able to easily share activities, analyze your data, and celebrate milestones.

Strava works well with Channels like Facebook, Twitter, Google Calendar, and Day One. You could also connect it with another fitness Channel, like Fitbit or Nike + to make sure your healthy habits are always in-sync. See you on the trail!
